White kitchens are never going to fade out of view. They are crisp, clean and provide unlimited possibilities. The trick is making them look fresh and not dated. In this kitchen, note the more modern “sticks” for backsplash tile and the modern handles. These design elements add the edge to an all white beach kitchen.

Gray blue stone "sticks" are something different and edgy in this othewise traditional beach kitchen

Soft and Serene

Lots of pantry storage in this kitchen

The grey blue stone backsplash accents the cooking are quite nicely. You have ample electric supply and high-quality ventilation and cabinet space to make everything more spread-out and not cramped like in old-fashioned kitchens. I especially like the breakfast nook located right behind the cooking area: It’s a nice touch to have the comfortable seats in a soft shade of peach. Lovely.

I am really having a hard time finding light gray stick wall tile with color variations like this. Any tips?

Missy: Try Artistic Tile website. They have blends you might like. This is where this came from in the photo.
Look under stone/scalini…that is where the sticks are…I cant recall exact name of this one but if you email me again then I will remember to look it up because not sure it is on the website of theirs but there is some nice ones! –Cheryl

That color combo doesn’t seem to be there anymore so i’m not sure if it’s available. If you happen to find the name, it would be nice though. Thanks so much.

Missy: The color is called smoke. I looked it up on old purchase order for you. I would call artistic tile and ask them. We can also order it for you and have it dropped ship to you. I actually have a sample of it at my shop left from that job. If you want to pay for shipping, will be happy to send to you….if it is still available. I will email my supplier and ask. –Cheryl
